We are a registered 501(c)(6) non-profit in the United States, meaning our income is not used for private or shareholder benefit. Our resources, including the fees we collect, are reinvested in our mission: promoting a sustainable and healthy open source ecosystem. 

Donations to OSC or any of the projects that we host are not considered charitable contributions and therefore are not tax-deductible. OSC is registered in the state of California as a Mutual Benefit Corporation.
